The reason why this quote caught my attention is because I find this very true. I don't mind hiding in my nutshell for a long time, as long I am happy to be who I am without losing my identity of being me.
Some people tend to change you in a way but have you ever ask yourself this simple yet a straight forward question to yourself, "Do you want this?"
Are you happy the fact that people change you in a way that you want to be or someone you don't want to be? Are they influencing you to be someone better or.. not?
Ask yourself again. Have you ever try your hardest to be in that particular group yet you failed and your effort gone wasted? Or in other words, you are already the part of it but then, you are not happy with the outcomes and the perspective of how they see things rather than having the thoughts of listening to your deep, tiny soul that is dying to split things out sadly you don't know how to start?
People tell you to follow your heart but then you are just confused over everything, to cut it short.. you're just frustrated over everything simply may leads you to depression, wondering how and why to solve this problem?
The answer comes from you, how you want it to be because you, yourself know your inner strength, your inner identity and the needs that you want to fulfill in life. Never let anyone pass your way of discouraging you. Impress yourself, not others because if you know how to impress yourself, you will be able to impress others too. :)
