Event: Fundraiser in IACT College.

Shall I say that it's one of the foremost, kind of event that I attended to because I have not attended to this kind of event until yesterday which happened on the 2nd July 2013. So where shall I start?

Right after class, my friend and I decided to dropped by at the gallery and we saw a few kids running around, playing with their balloons. They were so adorable and their presence makes me want to stay for the event as I had 3-hours break in between so why not?

These kids and staffs come from a special home which makes them even more special. They are more like a blessing to be on earth, their strength to carry on with life, no matter how large the amount of obstacles they have to face in life, they won't give up and be themselves. In fact, they are grateful of what they have, that's why I find them really special = their strength move me. The fact where they don't usually compare among others but appreciating themselves, and their special talents they have. They may be different but they have set a difference in our lives as well. Watching them smile brings joy to the entire room. It would be great if I could spend more time with them, to play with them, getting to know their culture, and communicating with them if it wasn't for my time management (and I had to leave early because I had to attend a group discussion) but overall, I'm happy that I managed to take the opportunity to mix around with them and by staying longer as the event goes on.

Activities such as auction - the money goes for charity as they were a few painting they were painted/drew by the special kids and staffs, Sing-along session with Odilia + Clifford, Beat-boxing session, Story-telling time!, lunch at Frontera and closing: dancing-ceremony!

Moving on, I've taken a few pictures and these are the pictures:-

Which auctioning pictures painted/printed by the kids and the staffs from special homes as they stepped up on stage and the bid starts off with RM15 > higher.

With IACT College's CEO, Jason Chin with a staff from special homes. He bought the staff's painting after bidding the highest.

This little kid was a superstar of the entire auction event, his painting was once sold for RM200+ and getting the highest bid. (Amazing isn't it?)

Mr. Nicholas bought the little boy's painting and he took over the stage!

Beat-boxing featuring Esmond, an IACT student.

Storytelling time with a lecturer and an IACT student, Belle.

Cindy, an IACT staff took over on stage and bought the little boy's painting during auction.

Friendly faces! I decided to join in and communicate with them while playing with the kids. They are truly a blessing. Oh, and did I tell you that she taught me a new dance step/game too?

Taken with one of a talented girl that sings for us on stage while auctioning her artwork.
