Movie Screening: Monster University.

I was invited to go for a movie screening by my friend, Yi Sin. Thank you Student Engagement Center (SEC), along with their partners, TGV Cinemas and talkFILM for making the event happen.

Woke up extremely early in case I couldn't catch a bus (you know... weekends.. I don't know how the bus route/schedule is like but what I know it is slightly slower and drag the time even more compare to weekdays from what I observe cause I have been taking public transport since then) and reached KLCC around 9 something in the morning. Met up with Yi Sin after awhile and we went to register and got our hands on the movie ticket!

Monster INC has been my all-time favorite Pixar movie since young simply because I've always loved Sulley (that blue, fluffy monster that seems huggable  - something that I used to think of when I was little and Mike Wazowski - the funny little fella with one eye. And not to forget, Boo (that adorable toddler that ties two ponytails)

Monster INC is focusing more towards their life before Monster University, where they show that both of the main characters' life in the company itself whereas Monster University is focusing on their younger, adolescent days before Monster INC existed. It is something like fast and furious (in case you haven't watch it, they shown flashbacks on how they particular person was alive and before he died in the movie - that Japanese dude if I am not wrong) To cut it short, Monster University brings back childhood memories and I love every second of the movie. I was expecting Boo to appear out of nowhere or something but sadly, she did not (I guess she wasn't born at that time)

I would say that Monster University is a nice movie simply because I've always loved it since young and the storyline is pretty interesting an hilarious. I wouldn't want to spoil  the entire movie in case you haven't watch it but I would say that I don't mind watching for a second time.

A few pictures that I would love to share. Before the movie started, a little short introduction has been made by the person that made the entire event possible, the SEC organization as he was sharing a little bit about SEC (Student Engagement Center). Hopefully there are more events yet to come.

Free popcorns!

Sorry for the poor, bad image quality. It was pretty dark so I had to use the flash. All pictures taken using a mobile device and screenshot image was originally taken from SEC.

Till then!

P/S: A gentle reminder:-
