To be honest, I don't really like to use the term "best friend" because the term best friend is too mainstream. However, I'm listing down the ones that I am really close with and have been with me for long. Of course, knowing who are my true friends are - is a difficult task in life that I am not sure who to believe and trust. Call me old fashion but I'm more towards the one that I'm really comfortable with, trust and understanding is very important to maintain a ship. It's nothing about how that person looks, how popular and rich they are. What comes from the heart matters more than just a cover.
Christina and Pei Ying. I've known Pei Ying since 13 thanks to someone that eventually dumped us for another group and that's when we became closer. Got to know Christina when I was 13 as well but we weren't really close till the moment we were 16, it has always been the three of us. High school is always something to look forward to that makes it so happening to wake up everyday to attend school just to see them and of course, going out with them such as outings is always something to look forward to!! Ignoring those stereotyping people in school, they are really awesome in a way that they don't judge my background and accept me for who I am as some friends that I met constantly would want to have a friend that lives a glamorous-materialistic life that owns a huge house, car, a group of freaking rich-ass kids and win the best award of being the hottest girl in the group (Seriously, I know I'm really simple but sorry, I rather live a simple life than to have all these) Without Pei Ying and Christina, my life is never the same, they are the ones that I can really trust and believe. That's how special they really are and they know it themselves. Eventhough we have our busy schedules and it wasn't the same as how high school was, we will always try to catch up whenever is possible. I'm really comfortable around them as well. The best thing is - we are always happy. :D I'm really blessed to know them and without them, life is never meaningful to begin with. They sort of taught me a lot about life and God. 6 years and counting!
Yi Sin. Believe it or not, her English name is Katherine and it's so unbelievable when I got to know her name because it's so close to my name! :D Know her since 13 (6 years and counting as well) and she's probably one of the most awesome girl ever. It seems like we share the things that we love the most and she's indeed an adventurous girl too! Someone that I can honestly turn to and probably the best listener ever. It's amazing that she doesn't judge unlike some people I know that constantly judge by telling me to look better or at best but then Yi Sin accepts me for who I am. She's indeed a very straight-forward person that I know as well and there is nothing to hide. There is moreee. Read more HERE and you will truly understand why.
It's amazing that things didn't change and still keep in contact. We used to have movie days as we watched movies all the time whenever we meet up. It's nice to watch each other grow (from primary school till now) Oh wow, we are still friends! Hope to have more and more outings and hangouts to come. Plus, we constantly take pictures too whenever we see each other (moments are meant to be captured by the way.)
Aishah. another primary school friend I known since 2002. Same classmates till secondary school, we weren't very close cause we barely see each other as secondary school we were in different class until we meet again when I was form 4, I was in the same class as her again! Man, I think she's one hilarious girl ever that I can joke around with. She's really open to jokes and easy to be around with. Probably one of the nicest girl I know. When it comes to studies, both of us used to be so determined to work hard all the time, I'm inspired from there. Because of her, my malay improved too. Ahahha
