Penang Work-Holiday Trip.

So, I was in Penang for the past 5 days (more like a holiday-work job). Of course before we officially start the event, we would definitely want to discover aka travel around Penang that's for sure. A few pictures that I have taken with my one of only compatible Canon (it's a digital camera that has been with me for three years. Instead of carrying a heavy DSLR around, a digital camera would be an ideal consideration for those who do not want an extra bag to carry and just spontaneously slip inside your bag.

Arrived Penang about 11pm and we checked in to this backpacker hostel known as Roomies, pretty much of a cosy, hipster environment but hey, it's one of the best hostel ever I can find in Penang so far and I would definitely love to come back to stay there.

Did I tell you that their interior is so awesome? Oh and they even have their own guitar that people who stayed in Roomies can play and also a laptop, a few books and games for backpackers to play/read :)

The best part is, they have beanbags too! :D

I rate this hostel 4.5 stars! :D Why? The environment is indeed really nice that it makes me feel like I am home, one-of-a-kind breakfast which is so delicious and unique too (refer to the picture above please) as I thought it is going to be plain bread and butter and coffee, they have pretty murals along the staircase, rooftop, quotes and posters everywhere. Did I even mention that they provide free earplugs in case any of the backpackers snore? hahah, oh and they do sell beverages in their mini fridge as well! :) Oh, and the toilets are really clean too.

Where did the 0.5 go? At first when I arrived to the place, outside it looks really creepy that people tend to have an impression about that place but it taught me wrong! It was as awesome and didn't expected to be as awesome as ever.

No wonder the quote exists "Never judge the book by its cover"

Next up, we checked out about 11am the following day after we checked in (feels like an hour since I stayed in roomies), we explored Penang while we await for the briefing/meeting at the venue of where we were going to work.

Here's a few pictures:-

\

Did I tell you that this is one of the famous nasi kandar in Penang known as Nasi kandar Beratur? Which gives me an impression that people really line up aka queue up for their nasi kandar(s)

Now, here comes the event that had been going on for four days in a row:-

The showroom which happened on the third day - the conclusion of everything the kids learned (sums up the first and second day of what they learned.

A showroom is for them to sell the stuff they created using recycling materials (known as paper, empty bottles, plain T-shirts, etc).Sorry, no pictures on the first and second day, it was really busy so didn't really have the time to take out my camera and snap pictures.

And vegetarian food, catered by Eden throughout the entire four days since then. I believe they served vegetarian food is because most kids/teens are vegetarians as they come from India, some of them are from different countries such as Philippines, Singapore, Morocco.  Maybe, I am not that kind of person that fuss a lot about food. I could eat anything that is served on the table except shit please.

The food isn't so bad but what I know I ate a lot during the event. Did I tell you that they have chocolate milk too? Oh and also, cherry tomatoes :D

DAT CHERRY TOMATOES *_*

Some taufu with cheese on top. Reminds me of cheesy wedges but a healthy version.

Both V-Kids and V-teens had to perform in front of 10,000 thousand strong crowd. (around there and it was really grand)

And not to forget, group picture:-

Camera died on me so this time is my phone's camera. Sorry for the bad quality:-

The stage where the kids and the teens did their performances:-

That's the end of everything. And not to forget, a selfie with the girl that constantly give me free hugs :D

It's a wrapped and I've gain so much learning experience and patience during this event and not to forget, working with different people and with one of the extraordinary teams ever.

Till then!
